Pesticides

Pesticides and other potentially harmful contaminants are of significant concern in the medical marijuana community. People with cancer, HIV and other immuno-compromised patients have a right to know that their medicine does not contain dangerous elements that may harm them. Pesticides and other chemicals are commonly found as well, both in household and garden application and especially in the agricultural industry. It is important not only to seek out common pesticides we know are in regular application but also those chemicals that are not typically used and are very dangerous.

Carefully reading a pesticide’s MSDS (Materials Safety Data Sheet) and following manufacturers instructions should always be done. The EPA also publishes a regularly updated Pesticide Tolerance Document.

Always carefully read any Materials Safety Data Sheets for any materials you implement. Use information directly from manufacturer.
